The Tour de Tati reaches the finish line as Sterling Cook and Zach Eastman say goodbye and hello to Monsieur Tati as they take a closer look at his final film, PARADE (1974), and then take a look at where he began with an analysis of his early short films.
All the while, the duo ponder the legacy of Tati’s work, how his final bow wraps it up with a bow at large, and feel immense gratitude for the time spent with this master mime turned master filmmaker.
Films Discussed:
Parade (1974)
On demande une brute (1934)
Gai dimanche! (1935)
Soigne ton gauche (1936)
L’École des facteurs (1946)
